In need of another post workout snack? Well, I've got the perfect fix!
They taste like cookies, and give you an extra kick of energy! (re-fueling (: )
I adapted the recipe from here
Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
Ingredients:
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup applesauces
1/4 cup nut butter
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
3 Tbsp raisins (you can substitute cranberries or other dried fruit)
a pinch of salt
1 Tbsp splenda
First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Then, mix the applesauce and the nut butter. My sister and I split this recipe into two bowls so we could each have our own batch of cookies. I'm allergic to peanuts so I used almond butter and Brittany used peanut butter.
Then, add the rolled oats, cinnamon, vanilla, raisins, salt, and splenda. Mix until well combined.

Almond butter on the right ^
Roll into cookie shapes, and then bake for around 14 minutes.
Or until golden brown and some what firm to the touch.
These cookies are delicious! They are more dense because of the applesauce and nut butter, so beware!
