So here's one of the places that I visited with my dad: Cafe 222!
Since Britt and I dream to open a bakery one day, it only makes sense that the Food Network is one of my favorite channels haha.
The recommendation for this brunch place came from Bobby Flay on the show: The Best Thing I ever Ate!
I was really excited to try this place because breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, and it should be yours too (:
Usually, I'm an omelet girl; gotta get your protein!
But, this time I decided to go for the pancakes because I love blueberries! I'll actually eat pretty much any fruit, but blueberries are definitely one of my favorites.
These pancakes were light and fluffy but filling at the same time.
As you can see, it's speckled with large, juicy blueberries, although I wouldn't have minded if they added a few more (;
My dad decided to go with Bobby Flay's favorite: the peanut butter french toast.
I would let you know how it tasted, but I'm allergic to peanuts, so I can't really do that.. darn allergies.
From what he said, it was delicious! Who can resist warm, creamy, peanut butter?!
Except for me of course..
But if you're a peanut butter lover, I'd go try this place!
